House and Garden Magazine

Editor’s Letter
June marks a key moment in the House & Garden calendar with the unveiling of the Top 100 Interior Designers — an annual tribute to the best of British talent. At the very top, House & Garden reveals its Pantheon — the “cream of the cream” eleven designers shaping British interiors today.
This Month’s Focus
With summer holidays on the horizon, the issue turns its attention to exceptional hotels to escape to. Expect a curated list of inspiring travel destinations rooted in design.
Exhibitions & Design Highlights
Released in May, the June issue always previews WOW!House — the UK’s leading interior design show hosted by Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. This year’s “Insider News” section offers a sneak peek into three rooms from the new edition, each styled by a celebrated studio. A must-read for anyone planning to visit the show.
The People section spotlights key figures in the industry — and in the June issue, the focus is on antique dealers. That’s no surprise, as May and June play host to two of the biggest events on the antique calendar: the Decorative Art Fair and The Treasure House Fair.

Editorial Shoots
Console Tables & Stripes Styled by Ruth Sleightholme and shot by Gareth Hacker, this shoot explores the quiet charm of the console table, set against graphic striped backdrops — a look that’s emerging as a key trend.

Textiles as Art Photographed by Rachel Whiting in an artist’s studio, this bold and painterly shoot plays with fabric as artwork. Abstract prints, coastal colours, and fine wallpapers are draped like canvases, reminding readers why House & Garden remains the go-to platform for textile launches.

PR Insights for Brands
The “Decorate” section highlights smart solutions for curtains and blinds — a golden opportunity for textile brands. Also featured: Molly Mahon shares her insights on block printing.
For textile brands or companies offering bespoke curtain solutions, this is the section to target in future issues.

PR Insights for Interior Designers
Smart move by Janine Stone & Co — placing a service-focused ad in the issue everyone holds onto. The Top 100 edition sticks around, giving your brand long-term visibility. For designers looking to boost their profile, this is one of the best issues to be seen in.
World of Interiors

Editor’s Letter
Emily Tobin officially marks her one-year anniversary as Editor of The World of Interiors. To celebrate, she introduces two compelling new sections:
Wellsprings — a thoughtful series where WOI visits artists in their personal environments, uncovering how the outside world informs their inner lives.
A Room to Debate — a space for design controversy, questioning taste and legacy. Readers are invited to participate by sending opinions or topic ideas to: debate@worldofinteriors.com
This Month’s Focus
This issue is deeply rooted in the themes of antiques and art, and there’s one striking exception to a long-standing editorial rule. The World of Interiors rarely includes portraits of people in their interiors, believing the space should speak for itself. But this time, a bold exception is made with a portrait of legendary artist Liliane Lijn, marking a shift in how personality and place are portrayed.

Exhibitions & Design Highlights
Within this antiques-focused issue, The World of Interiors spotlights two major events: the WOW!house exhibition and the Treasure House fair.
The magazine highlights a standout space: the room designed by Daniel Slowik for WOW!house and sponsored by the Treasure House fair, which offers a sophisticated fusion of legacy craftsmanship and contemporary narrative.
Editorial Shoots
Aerial elegance meets rich heritage: this issue features a captivating editorial shoot by stylist Miranda Sinclair and photographer Christopher Harwood. It’s a masterclass in showcasing textiles, reinforcing The World of Interiors' reputation as a go-to title for presenting textile collections—on par with House & Garden.

PR Insights for Brands
This issue offers an ideal platform for brands whose collections are inspired by archives, antiques, heritage materials, or classic craftsmanship. Whether you're launching a new range with historical references or repositioning a legacy collection, the June issue is the perfect placement — but you need to pitch by January.

PR Insights for Interior Designers
The World of Interiors consistently champions richly layered interiors rooted in heritage — and the June issue leaves little room for minimalism or overtly modern schemes. However, despite not aligning with seasonal trends, the issue carries a touch of summery atmosphere in select projects.
The June issue is a moment for designers whose work is grounded in English tradition, antiques, and historical detail to truly shine—most notably seen in the atmospheric project by Max Rollitt, a leading voice in heritage-informed design.

Elle Decoration

Editor’s Letter
Editor Ben Spriggs takes his cue from shifting sunlight — those fleeting rays that dance across glossy surfaces. It sparked this issue’s obsession with shine, sheen, and surface play. From lacquered finishes to reflective materials, it all comes together in the standout project of the month: a butter-yellow London interior by Peter Mikic that practically radiates summer.

This Month’s Focus
This issue feels distinctly summery, spotlighting standout seasonal projects and turning its attention to the healing power of gardening and the allure of outdoor living — from private terraces to community planting initiatives.
Exhibitions & Design Highlights
Elle Decoration covers Clerkenwell Design Week, spotlighting standout installations and moments across the city. From the spectacular WOW!house — featuring rooms by 22 of the UK’s top designers — the editor singles out the Library by Pirajean Lees: a space defined by layered elegance, rich texture, and quiet sophistication.

Editorial Shoots
The cover story, styled by Amy Heffernan and shot by Matthew Donaldson, explores the current appetite for high-gloss, lacquered finishes—a tactile, light-reflecting trend dominating interiors this season.

A second editorial, styled by Sandrine Place and photographed by Claire Israel, plays with mono fabrics, showcasing how vibrant contrast can be used to create striking yet harmonious spaces.

PR Insights for Interior Designers
Staying true to the sun-kissed theme of the season, the magazine presents a curation of sun-drenched homes from around the world. One standout is the butter-yellow interior by British designer Peter Mikic, a joyful, sophisticated take on summer colour.
In the Industry Index section, renowned design duo Gilles & Boissier share their insights on crafting effortless Parisian chic — a timeless aesthetic and an editorial favourite. This section remains one of the best platforms for designers to showcase their studios, creative process, and signature style.

PR Insights for Brands
With Elle Decoration celebrating the 100 years of Art Deco, this is the perfect time for brands to promote designs and products with Deco-inspired details.
Brands are also encouraged to lean into innovation and sustainability, as seen in the Salutogenic Sleep collection by Rise & Fall, which merges wellness with eco-design.
The issue also spotlights bamboo as a rising material trend, with a curated edit of bamboo-based pieces that balance sustainability with style.
